This early joy of selecting and arranging flowers has continued to be a cherished part of my journey, evolving into a love for floristry.”

As a result of my passion and love for flowers and all things creative, I founded Violets and Vases to share my love for flowers and design with the entire community. With eight years of experience in the industry and a full qualification as a florist, my journey started in Highfields as a school based traineeship. I earned my Certificate in 2018 and haven’t looked back since. I then went to study Interior Architecture at QUT and journeyed my way through various stores in Brisbane, where the distinctive Violets and Vases floral style took shape. The heart wants what the heart wants and all roads led back to Highfields; so my husband and I created Violets and Vases. While I may be at the forefront of this little business, I am not a solo act; Harrison plays an integral role in every aspect of the business - from behind-the-scenes work to photography, website editing, flower market runs, deliveries, and offering valuable advice.
